Fruit Cake Cookies

Single batch
1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsps cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla (more wouldn’t hurt)
chopped pecans (walnuts are okay, too.)
and candied fruit

Double batch
3 cups brown sugar
2 cups butter
6 eggs
6 cups flour
1 ½ tsps salt
4 tsps cinnamon
2 tsps baking soda
2 tsps vanilla
chopped pecans (walnuts are okay, too.)
and candied fruit

(I use 1 cup of pecans/walnuts and the small tub of mixed candied fruitcake fruit for each batch of cookies.)
Bake at 350 degrees on a greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes. (I don't grease the cookie sheet, I use silicon mats on my cookie sheets.)
The smaller cookies did cook in the designated 15 minutes; the larger ones took longer. They should be lightly browned around the edges.
