|
English vineyards are growing in reputation in the global wine market, so Laura and Rosemary are excited to be invited to the Crickle Valley vineyard. There they find that weeds are choking this year's crop and the gardeners have trouble finding a horticultural solution to the massive problem. Events turn sinister when a visiting wine columnist dies in mysterious circumstances. Brothers Ben and Stuart, who run the vineyard and hotel respectively, are at odds over the future of the property - a rivalry made worse by the murder of Ben's girlfriend. Cunning detective work by Rosemary and Laura not only unmasks the killer, but ensures this year's vintage of Crickle Valley wines finally makes it into the bottles.
