Lemuel Gulliver (Kerwin Matthews) travels far from home and visits such places as Lilliput, where everyone and everything is smaller than he is, and Brobdingnag, where everything and everyone is bigger than he is. Some musical segments are included; Gulliver sings at one point. Gulliver also has a lover (June Thorburn). Some parts of the story are symbolic of other things, like what causes war, lack of reason, vanity, and ingratitude. In Lilliput, the Lilliputians and the Blefescuans are battling each other over petty things, while in Brobdingnag, the bigger creatures can rule over all others just because of their size. |
