Stargate: The Ark of Truth is the final linchpin in the Stargate television series. In a desperate search for a weapon that can help Earth defeat the Ori and their dreaded Priors leads SG-1 to the Ori home galaxy. Once again Colonel Mitchell (Ben Browder), Doctor Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks), Teal’C (Christopher Judge), Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping) and the scoundrel Vala Mal Doran (Claudia Black) venture to another galaxy aboard the Odyssey in search of this weapon. Only to discover that the Ori are amassing a war fleet to invade Earth lead by Doci (Julian Sands). However SG1 find themselves caught in the middle of a war between the Ori and a new enemy led by Morgan Lefay (Sarah Strange). Meanwhile back on Earth Major General Hank Landry (Beau Bridges) fights a battle with International Oversight committee who have their own plans for SG-1 and this new weapon that may help defeat the Ori. This also sees all the loose ends from the television series tied up especially the question of Adria’s (Morena Baccarin) accession. |
