Buckaroo Bonzai (Peter Weller) is a 80’s rocker, adventurer, scientist and doctor. He and his band members, including New Jersey (Jeff Goldblum), save the day on a regular basis. When they are not saving the day, they are traveling the world performing concerts. One day, Buckaroo invents a machine that allows for inter-dimensional travel. Unfortunately he brings back alien invaders from the 8th dimension- led by Lord John Whorfin (John Lithgow), that are trying to conquer the world. It is up to Buckaroo to not only defeat the aliens, but to keep galactic peace, and save his new girlfriend Penny Priddy (Ellen Barkin). |
