The story begins on earth and takes everyone to the outer space, into another galaxy. It is believed that People belonging to an advanced race, called Ancients, once inhabited the earth and were living in the city of Atlantis, which is now lost. The only means to track down this lost city is through the devices called Stargate, which were designed by the Ancients. One such device was found in Egypt. And the second one was found in Antarctica. Dr. Rodney McKay believes that Atlantis could be situated in another galaxy called Pegasus when others were sure that Atlantis was once the city in the very place where Antarctica is standing today, since Dr. Rodney found that the Stargate could dial to some other galaxy. A team consisting of several scientists and military officials start their journey to the Pegasus galaxy. The team unfortunately was made to face a tough enemy in the outer space and all the members' lives were put at stake. The story then takes everyone through fantastic and nail-biting incidents which rises a question whether the crew would make it back to the earth safely. |
