In a future Gotham City, a street gang named The Joker have modeled themselves after the infamous Clown Prince Of Crime The Joker. They break into high-tech manufacturing plant to steal a generator, but are thwarted by the new Batman (Will Friedle). What puzzles Batman and his teacher the original Batman Bruce Wayne(Kevin Conroy). The reason for this rash of tech thefts is a mystery, even to the gang doing the thieving. They are simply taking orders from someone claiming to be the original Joker. The Joker taunts Bruce Wayne, and later sends his minions to attack the Batcave. But the original Joker died a long time ago, and why does this Joker want all these high-tech tools? As the fate of the original Joker come to light, this new Batman begins to piece the mystery together. Now the Joker is back and if Batman can't stop him, his plot threatens to rip apart Gotham City.
