This sequel to the cult classic Heavy Metal (1981) finds a miner named Tyler (Micheal Ironside) possessed by the power of the Loc Nar. Having a hunger for power and immortality, he discovers a planet which has a fountain with just what he needs. He stops at FAKK (Federation-Assigned Ketogenic Killzone) because he finds the inhabitants have something he wants and kills most of the people there. But he misses one: Julie. (Julie Strain) She vows revenge and intends to kill Tyler before he reaches the fountain of his desire. She is aided by Odin (Billy Idol) and Zeek. A former member of Tyler's crew also aids in her search to find and kill Tyler. The film is accompanied by a soundtrack of such artists as Queens of the Stone Age, Monster Magnet, Billy Idol and Pantera. |
