All six episodes from the sixth series of the Scottish crime drama based on the novels by Ann Cleeves. Set in the Shetland Islands, the programme follows Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez (Douglas Henshall) as he works to solve a number of murder mysteries. He is assisted by Detective Sergeant Alison 'Tosh' Macintosh (Alison O'Donnell) and Detective Constable Sandy Wilson (Steven Robertson). In this series, Perez has very little time to mourn at his mother's funeral when news reaches him that an outspoken islander has been killed in broad daylight but finding answers proves more difficult than first expected.

11/9/2021 1. Episode #6.1
	Douglas Henshall returns in the detective drama. Perez attends his mother's funeral on Fair Isle, where he begins to worry that his father is having trouble with his memory. However, when Tosh calls to inform him of a murder - the shooting of a prominent and controversial Shetlander on their doorstep in broad daylight - he rushes back to lead the investigation.
11/16/2021 2. Episode #6.2
	Perez and Tosh board the dive boat to investigate this latest death. Was this a tragic accident, or was the only witness to Galbraith's murder silenced before they could speak? Suspicion falls on Mick Muir, the Life Support Supervisor responsible for diver safety - and when he is attacked by angry crew members, he has to be rushed to hospital. Perez senses the hand of organized crime, but getting answers proves difficult.
11/23/2021 3. Episode #6.3
	The race is on to catch Sandy's attacker before he can escape Shetland, while Lynda Morton finds herself in trouble, so she desperately calls Perez for help - offering a key name for his investigation in return. Blood from the recent break-in throws up a DNA match that leads to another murder suspect, and a shocking confession causes tensions to boil over, sowing the seeds of further violence.

11/30/2021 4. Episode #6.4
	After the shocking events of the previous night, Perez must piece together what happened before a rampaging and vengeful Creggan finds his target. Eve denies any involvement and has an alibi, while Tosh visits Maurice Ross to find out why Galbraith was paying for his care. At the religious retreat on Whalsay, Sister Carolyn receives a threatening postcard and quickly packs her bags.
12/7/2021 5. Episode #6.5
	Perez finds that Carrie McAndrew was in debt to Niven Guthrie. Fiona Bedford reveals that her husband is tracking her whereabouts. As Donna grows weaker, she asks Duncan for one last favor.
12/14/2021 6. Episode #6.6
	Niven and Darren are arrested and brought to the station for interview. Perez finally brings the investigation to a climax - but he has no time to rest when it turns out Donna has one last surprise in store.
