Luke Skywalker hatches a plan to save his friend, Han Solo, from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt. Leia Organa, disguised as a bounty hunter, goes into Jabba’s palace and frees Han from the carbonite, but they are caught before they can leave. Luke shows up soon after and kills Jabba’s pet rancor in the dungeon. For this, he and Han are to be put to death in the Sarlaac pit. However, Luke gets his lightsaber and creates a distraction while Leia strangles Jabba. They all make it out alive. Then, they must deal with the Empire. Luke must fight his father, Darth Vader, one last time. Meanwhile, the others have to fight the Empire on Endor and in space. This last battle will decide the fate of the Rebellion. |
