“The Golden Voyage of Sinbad” is the classic and ageless tale of Sinbad (John Phillip Law) and his high adventures upon the seven seas. While traveling with his crew onboard his ship, a winged creature drops a golden tablet which Sinbad wears around his neck. The tablet foretells strange dreams which lead Sinbad to the Grand Vizier of Marabia (Douglas Wilmer) who has another tablet which locks together with Sinbad’s. This forms a map to untold treasures. Now together the Vizier and Sinbad travel the seven seas in search of this map’s treasure. They encounter many obstacles, one being Koura (Tom Baker), the evil wizard who wants his tablet back. |
