When the heroic daredevil The Great Leslie (Tony Curtis) and his assistant Hezekiah Sturdy (Keenan Wynn) set off on a wacky race to drive from New York to Paris during the turn of the century, his lifelong rival Professor Fate (Jack Lemmon) and his henchman Maximillian (Peter Falk) are in hot pursuit. Complicating matters is suffragette/reporter Maggie DuBois (Natalie Wood), who is both covering the race and taking part in it. |
