27 year old Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) is the rebellious son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) and he is investigating the disappearance of his father, once known as the world's leading game developer. In the course of the search he sees a strange signal coming from the arcade game his father build, the Flynn Arcade and he is pulled into the digital world of Tron. This world is the same as where his father dissapeared in 20 years before. He gets reunited with his father and together with Kevin's confidant Quorra (Olivia Wilde) they fight a ruthless enemy in an effort to escape. |
