All of her short life, Meggie Folchart (Eliza Bennett) has thought her father, Mo (Brendan Fraser) to be rather odd. He travels the world binding and fixing the spines of rare books. What Meggie doesn’t know is that her father actually has a very special power: he is able to read people alive. Her father is what is known as a Silvertongue. He is searching the world over for a copy of the book Inkheart which was the last book he read to his wife before she disappeared. Finding this book may be the only way that Mo can read his wife, and Meggie’s mother, back to life. |
